This Cookie Policy explains how Wealth Building Academy LLC (“we,” “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on CommunityVault.ai (the “Service”). It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include your browser’s local storage. They help websites work, keep you signed in, and remember choices.
2. Summary
- We only set strictly necessary cookies: to keep you signed in and to run the demo.
- We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
- Our website analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) is cookieless and only reports aggregated numbers.
4. Local Storage
The app also stores some data in your browser’s local storage so pages load quickly and your settings are remembered on that device. This data stays in your browser and is not used for tracking.
What we store
- cv_demo_v1 — sample data for the demo.
- cv_user_<id> and cv_resident_v1 — app data and preferences for signed-in users on that device.
- cv_email_settings — your organization’s email notification settings.
- cv_plan_purchased_<checkout id> (session storage, cleared when you close the tab) — makes sure a plan purchase is counted only once in our analytics.
You can clear local storage at any time in your browser settings.
5. Analytics (Vercel Web Analytics)
We use Vercel Web Analytics, provided by our hosting provider, Vercel, to understand how our website is used. It is privacy-friendly:
- No cookies. It does not set cookies.
- Aggregated data only. We see totals, such as page views, referring websites, and general device, browser, and country information — not individual profiles.
- A few product events. We count when someone starts the demo, completes sign-up, starts a free trial, or purchases a plan, so we can see how many people complete each step. These events carry only general details such as the plan chosen, the type of organization, or the sign-up method — never names, email addresses, or document content.
- Page addresses without private details. We record the page path only: query strings are removed and private invitation links are masked before anything is sent.
- No cross-site tracking. It does not follow you across other websites, and we do not use it for advertising.
6. Third-Party Sites
We do not load third-party advertising or tracking scripts on our pages. When you buy a plan, you are sent to a checkout page hosted by our payment processor, Stripe, on Stripe’s own website. Stripe may set its own cookies there (for example, to prevent fraud) under Stripe’s cookie policy. Links to other websites are governed by those sites’ own policies.
7. Managing Cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Because the cookies we set are strictly necessary, blocking them will sign you out and may stop the demo from working. Since we only use strictly necessary cookies and cookieless analytics, we do not show a cookie consent banner.
8. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no consistent industry standard, the Service does not change its behavior in response. We do not track you across other websites in any case.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if we add a cookie or change analytics providers. Changes are effective when posted with an updated “Effective date.”
